AIRTEC Motorsport Sidewinder Manifold Heat Shield for Focus ST / RS Mk2

Designed specifically for modified Focus ST / RS models fitted with an aftermarket ‘sidewinder’ style exhaust manifold that relocates the turbo over the gearbox, this simple yet effective heat shield helps protect the camshaft seal caps, wiring loom, sensors, coil packs and the associated area from the excessive heat build up, which is especially important if you wish to retain the original plastic engine cover.

Made from 2mm aluminium, the design of the shield neatly matches the profile of the cam cover, features an AIRTEC plaque and a brushed aluminium finish. It secures in place using extending posts to allow the original cam cover bolts to be reused. 

Please note: Will only fit with aftermarket ‘sidewinder’ style exhaust manifold that relocates the turbo over the gearbox. There are slightly different styles of these manifolds, so minor alterations maybe required.
