As part of our expanding Renault platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our short shifter for the Clio RS 197 and 200 models.

With vast experience in developing short shifters for a variety of applications, these shifters have been carefully engineered to improve the gear change experience, offering up to 35% reduction in distance throw to vastly decrease shifting time. But the shifter doesn’t just decrease the throw; it massively improves the feel and is guaranteed to enhance your driving experience.

Made from CNC-machined aluminium with engraved AIRTEC Motorsport logo, the comprehensive kit comes with all fittings and fixtures, as well as detailed installation instructions. 

Fitment:
There are three types of TL4 gearbox fitted to the Clio 197 and 200 models:

•  TL4 003 – fitted to 2006/2007 197 models – our kit currently will NOT fit this model 

• TL4 024  – fitted to 2007/2008/2009 197 models – our kit currently WILL fit this model 

• TL4 031  – fitted to ALL 200 models – our kit currently WILL fit this model 

   

Warning: A word on shifting…
Whilst the AIRTEC Motorsport shifter does not put any more strain on your transmission, excessive force does. 

After fitting an AIRTEC Motorsport shifter, the gear change will feel more positive largely because it is massively reduced, but it has been engineered to do this correctly by moving the shifter’s pivot point. 

Therefore it should require less effort to move between gears, so it is essential you do not force the gear lever too hard or too quickly during driving. Doing either one will not improve your gear change but can cause serious damage to the transmission.
