Tools needed.
10mm Spanner
8mm Socket and ratchet (extensions bars as well)
Jack and axle stand if no access to 2 poster ramp
Set of Torx bits
Set of Allen keys
Philips screwdriver

1.Remove main air deflector, located directly behind front upper grill.

2.Now you need to get your ST up in the air, use jack and axle stands or 2-poster ramp if you?re lucky enough.

3.Remove both under body splash shields, these are secured by torx 30 screws

4.Remove horn assembly by undoing the 10mm bolt, this will be refitted later.

5.Remove original intercooler securing bolts, they are 8mm bolts.

6.Undo jubilee clips securing intercooler boost pipes onto intercooler

7.Now remove intercooler, lift upwards and away from radiator.

8.Remove plastic air scoops, these are secured by a torx 30 screw and black plastic phillips screw. These can be removed and left off or they can be modified by yourself to fit with new intercooler.

9.Install new Airtec Intercooler by hanging it on the radiator the same way you removed the original intercooler. At the same time you are installing the intercooler, the drivers side boost pipe can be pushed into position. Once in position, fit the passenger side boost pipe and tighten both jubilee clips on the boost pipes.

10.Now take the heavy duty L shaped brackets, loosely bolt them on the bottom of the intercooler and radiator support cradle, as seen in picture. Once you are happy with position of intercooler tighten bolts.
9.Install new Airtec Intercooler by hanging it on the radiator the same way you removed the original intercooler. At the same time you are installing the intercooler, the drivers side boost pipe can be pushed into position. Once in position, fit the passenger side boost pipe and tighten both jubilee clips on the boost pipes. 10.Now take the heavy duty L shaped brackets, loosely bolt them on the bottom of the intercooler and radiator support cradle, as seen in picture. Once you are happy with position of intercooler tighten bolts.
11.Time to install the horn.
The horn assembly bolts onto the top of intercooler with the stainless bolt provided.

12.All that is left to do now is to replace air deflector and splash shields.
