Focus RS mk1 new project car (Now Sold) Finally we have got our hands on a Focus RS to play with.
This car will hopefully be at loads of shows in 2009
We have had the RS a couple of months now, but its been working hard with Airtec on the intercooler so the car has been up north with them for most of the time.
Now we can get started on the engine bay, transforming it into something special, sorry no dark boring carbon here, its gonner be blue ’n’ shinny and very very shinny.......
We looked at about 5 before deciding on this one, Joe the previous owner did all the right mods like
Re-mapped ecu
Stainless exhaust & de-cat pipe ’it back fires alot’
K&N gen 2 airfilter
Eibach lowering springs
Uprated front discs & pads
and loads of other smaller parts which was great
We wanted one that all ready had some minor mods, a real good starting point. Beware when buying modded cars, they can be trouble all these mods were only 6 months old and fitted by scs a Focus RS specialist.
The exhaust is only a 3" rolled inwards pipe but does really give it that subtle look.
Note the clear fog light, a must on Mk1 Focus’s, want one? go to fords and ask for a lhd (left hand drive) reverse light simple.
Fords did a spot on job of making the FRS looks the Business, we keep looking a different wheels but keep coming back to these and thinking ’ their just right’
Since my old boss at the ford dealer handed me the proto type pictures of the FRS I have always wanted one and for now we get some time to play with one. awesome
Airtec front mount Intercooler kit now fitted, one of the biggest jumps in performance I have felt in a bolt on mod.
Now available from our on-line shop
Next stage of our FRS we will be showing testing, test results and fitting of the Airtec Intercooler, which were carried out at Airtec and torque of the devil rolling road.
