Tasked with controlling how much boost the Focus's turbo is allowed to produce, the wastegate plays an integral role in the turbo system. However, the Focus's standard actuator does not let the Focus reach its full potential, even at standard boost pressures.

OEM wastegate actuators tend to use soft springs, which begin to open long before peak boost is reached.

We have taken our huge Focus RS Intercooler and modified it to fit with the ST Bumper & then taken our massive 2.5" cold side Pro hose (intercooler to inlet manifold) and a Pro hose boost pipe from Intercooler to ST standard metal pipe, making this kit the best value for money option for 300+ bhp Focus ST's
 
If running Big Turbo conversion this Intercooler will go up to 500bhp

 Fitting on Pre-face lift models 2005 to 2008 - We would recommend fitting the RS radiator due to clearance on the cold side hose (intercooler to throttle body), if you don't have enough money to buy an RS radiator then you will still get the same gains but the hose will be a very tight fit.

With the success of our Focus ST & RS induction kits we knew that the Fiesta ST needed something special to improve induction noise and power. Once the original Airbox was removed we knew how much space we had to work with 'not much' <br />
<br />
Due to lack of space we had to rule out a fully enclosed Air box for the time being so the next best option was a open filter. We started with a tightly bent mandrel 90 degree alloy pipe, then cnc'd the Air flow sensor boss and welded the boss and securing bracket to the Alloy pipe, once in position we were straight on the phone the k&n technical department to find the perfect filter, once the filter had been chosen a pre-charger cover was also installed, the pre-charger covers are water resistant but still gives maximum gains. The charger cover is only pre-cautionary measure as our filter sits very high in the engine bay. On test we have seen up to 188bhp and standard cars producing their production figures of around180bhp,  5+bhp gains should be possible and higher gains on re-mapped cars<br />

To give the Fiesta's engine bay that AS touch we first removed the engine cover and had it painted in gloss black and frozen white and finished the engine cover with a custom badge made by DMB graphics.<br />
